GOA POLICE IS INVITING APPLICATION FOR 181 POSTS OF POLICE SUB-INSPECTOR, POLICE CONSTABLE, POLICE CONSTABLE (WIRELESS MESSENGER AND WIRELESS STORE HAND), LOWER DIVISION CLERK, LABORATORY TECHNICIAN AND LABORATORY ATTENDANT. LAST DATE — 08.08.2016

1. Police Sub-Inspector: 34 Nos. (UR-17, OBC-09, ST-04, EXSM-02, Sportsperson-02)
Educational Qualification: Degree or equivalent OR Higher Secondary pass with 3yrs Diploma course in Security and Investigation Technology.
Candidates should have computer course certificate for minimum period of three months with basics knowledge of Windows Operating System, Microsoft Office etc and Driving license for light Vehicle.
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Age Limit: Minimum-20 years and maximum-28 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.9300/- Rs.34,800/- and Grade Pay Rs.4200/-

2. Police Constable: 119 Nos. (UR-57, OBC-24, SC-04, ST-17, EXSM-02, Home Guard-09, Sportsperson-06)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Age Limit: Minimum-18 years and maximum-22 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

3. Police Constable (Wireless Messenger): 16 Nos. (UR-12, OBC-03, Sportman-01)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Age Limit: Maximum-45 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

4. Police Constable (Wireless Store Hand): 01 Nos. (UR-01)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination or equivalent qualification
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Desirable: Practical experience in the line
Age Limit: Maximum-45 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

5. Lower Division Clerk: 07 Nos. (OBC-03, ST-02, ST-01, EXSM-01)
Educational Qualification: Higher Secondary School Certificate or All India Council for Technical Education approved Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Candidates should be Computer Literate and knowledge of Konkani.
Age Limit: Maximum-45 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1900/-

6. Laboratory Technician: 03 Nos. (OBC-01, PWD-01,EXSM-01)
Educational Qualification: Bachelors Degree in Science with at least second class.
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Desirable:  Practical experience in any Scientific Laboratory
Age Limit: Maximum-45 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.2400/-

7. Laboratory Attendant: 01 Nos. (EXSM-01)
Educational Qualification: Secondary School Certificate Examination.
Candidates should have knowledge of Konkani
Desirable: Should be computer literate
Age Limit: Maximum-45 years as on 08.08.2016
Pay Scale: Rs.5200/- Rs.20200/- and Grade Pay Rs.1800/-

NOTE:

1. Candidates willing to apply for the above posts must meets the required Physical Standards as outlined in the officially released advertisement. See PDF file given below for physical standards norms.
2. Knowledge of Marathi is desirable for all the above posts.

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC and 10 years for PWD category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Application Fee: Candidates must pay application fee of Rs.200/- (Rs.100/- for  SC/ ST/ OBC/ EXSM/ PWD/ CFF Candidates)
