Army Welfare Education Society (AWES), Army Public Schools, is inviting application from the eligible candidates for approximately 8000 posts of Post Graduate Teacher (PGT), Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Primary Teacher (PRT) for 137 Army Public Schools located in various Cantonments and Military Stations across India. 1. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)Number of vacancies will be intimated in due course.
Educational Qualification: Post Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks

2. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)Number of vacancies will be intimated in due course.
Educational Qualification: Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed with 50% marks

3. Primary Teacher (PRT)Number of vacancies will be intimated in due course.
Educational Qualification: Graduation with 50% marks and B.Ed / Two years Diploma with 50% marks

Age Limit (For all above posts/discipline): Below 40 years (except for NCR schools where TGT/PRT should be below- 29 years and PGT below-36 years) and Candidates who have experience of 5 to 10 years should below 57 years as on 01/04/2016

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Screening Exam, Interview and Evaluation of Teaching skills and computer proficiency. Examination will be conducted on 26th /27thNovember 2016. Examination will be held on the various centres across the country.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/ Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO ANYWHERE AT THIS STAGE. All the verification will be done in due course.
