Intelligence Bureau (IB) – Recruitment of 69 Personal Assistant. Last Dt. 20/02/2016

Educational Qualification: 10+2 pass or equivalent with proficiency in Stenography, i.e. ability to take Dictation for 10 minutes at 100 words per minute and Computer transcription of same within 40 words per minute in English and 55 minutes in Hindi.
Desirable: Knowledge of computer operation, viz., Windows 2000/ 2003, MS Word, etc.

Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 20/02/2016

Pay Scale: Rs. 9300‐34800 plus Grade Pay Rs. 4600/-

Upper Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST and 03 years for OBC category. Ex-Serviceman & Others, if any – As per Govt. norms.

Candidates’ Selection: Selection of the candidates will be through Personal Assistant Examination 2015-16 ((Written Examination) and Stenography Skill Test. Written Examination will be Object type and Descriptive type. See PDF file provided below for more details.

Written Examination will be at various centres across the country, viz – Agartala, Ahmedabad, Aizawal, Amritsar, Bangalore, Bhopal. Bhubaneswar, Chandgarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Delhi, Guwahati, Hyderabad, Imphal, Itanagar, Jaipur, Jammu, Kohima, Kolkata, Leh, Lucknow, Meerut, Mumbai, Nagpur, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Siliguri, Trivandrum, Varanasi and Vijaywada.

The posts are temporary but are likely to continue indefinitely.

Candidates must submit only one application. Submission of other/multiple applications may result in cancellation of his/her applications altogether.

Upon successful payment of prescribed fee and submission of online application form, the system generated Registration/Acknowledgement Slip with unique registration number will appear on the computer screen. Candidates must print-out it for future correspondence. DO NOT SEND ANY PRINT-OUT/HARD COPY OR DOCUMENTS TO INTELLIGENCE BUREAU AT THIS STAGE. All the verification wdone in due course.
